Child benefit rates are increasing.

This is the first time in a number of years that child benefit rates will be increasing (and it's not a substantial increase).

From April 2020, the new weekly rates will be -
Eldest Child
Currently - £20.70
From April - £21.05
Increase - 35p per week
Each additional Child
Currently - £13.70
From April - £13.95
Increase - 25p​ per week
